Farwalk’s Welding Cables are engineered for the ultimate balance of heavy-duty power and extreme flexibility. Utilizing thousands of fine copper strands and a rugged thermoset EPDM jacket, these cables are designed to withstand constant dragging, abrasion, and hot weld spatter in the most aggressive shipyard and fabrication environments.
Manufactured to meet UL 1581 and IEC 60245 standards. The conductor is made of Class K (30 AWG strands) or Class M (34 AWG strands) plain annealed copper. A specialized tape separator is applied between the copper and the jacket to ensure the strands move freely. The outer jacket is a premium EPDM or Neoprene rubber, available in high-visibility Orange or standard Black.
The primary choice for connecting welding machines to electrodes (the torch) and work-clamps. Beyond welding, it is widely utilized as a high-flex battery cable for marine systems, large-scale automotive winches, and off-grid solar energy storage where space for cable routing is extremely limited.
• Voltage Rating: 600V
• Conductor: Class K/M Fine Stranded Copper
• Jacket Material: Heavy-duty EPDM or Neoprene
• Temp. Rating: -50°C to 105°C
• Resistance: Heat, Spatter, Oil, Acid, and Abrasion
1. Conductor: Fine-stranded annealed copper, Class K (30 AWG strands) or Class M (34 AWG strands) for maximum flexibility.
2. Separator: A paper or polyester tape wrap between conductor and jacket to prevent sticking.
3. Jacket: Heavy-duty EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber or Neoprene (HOFR compound).
4. Properties: High resistance to abrasion, ozone, weathering, and industrial solvents.
• Ultra-Flex Technology: Thousands of individual copper strands allow the cable to be looped and twisted repeatedly without fatigue or insulation failure.
• Spatter & Heat Resistance: The thermoset rubber jacket is engineered to resist pitting from hot weld spatter and sparks, maintaining integrity under harsh thermal stress.
• Extreme Environmental Endurance: Remains flexible in sub-zero temperatures (down to -50°C) and maintains stability in high-heat industrial environments (up to 105°C).
• Dual-Purpose Capability: Our welding cables are precision-manufactured to double as high-flex battery leads for solar arrays, automotive winches, and marine power systems.
• Premium Separator Barrier: We utilize an high-strength separator wrap that ensures the jacket never bonds to the copper, making stripping fast and installation easy.
• Global Export Grade: Rigorously tested to pass UL 1581 and IEC 60245 standards, ensuring compliance for international industrial tenders and safety inspections.
