Farwalk’s SEU (Service Entrance Unarmored) cables are the specialized solution for primary residential power entries. Featuring a flat, space-saving oval profile and a concentric neutral conductor, these cables are engineered with high-conductivity AA-8000 series aluminum to deliver safe, cost-effective power from the utility drop to the meter base.
Manufactured in strict accordance with UL Standard 854. The core features phase conductors insulated with heat and moisture-resistant XLPE (Type XHHW-2). A neutral conductor is applied concentrically (helically) over the phase conductors, followed by a binder tape and a sunlight-resistant, lead-free PVC outer jacket. All conductors are premium AA-8000 series aluminum alloy.
Primarily used as a service entrance conductor from the overhead utility power line to the residential or commercial meter base. Its unique flat shape makes it ideal for running along exterior walls where a low profile is aesthetically preferred. Rated for 600 volts and approved for use in both dry and wet locations per the NEC.
