Low Voltage Power Cable

Low Voltage Power Cable

Engineered for ultimate reliability, Farwalk’s 0.6/1 kV Low Voltage Power Cables are the backbone of industrial infrastructure. Available in pure Copper (Cu) or cost-effective Aluminum (Al), with customized SWA/STA armouring to withstand the harshest mechanical and environmental stresses.

As a core component of modern power distribution, our Low Voltage (LV) Power Cables are designed for fixed installations in networks with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV (Um=1.2 kV). By utilizing high-grade XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) or PVC insulation, these cables offer exceptional thermal stability and dielectric strength. Whether routed through underground ducts, direct burial trenches, or indoor cable trays, the Farwalk LV series guarantees uninterrupted energy transmission.

• Industrial Manufacturing: Main power supply for heavy machinery, motors, and automated production lines.
• Infrastructure & Urban Grids: Substation distribution, street lighting, and underground power networks.
• Commercial Real Estate: Feeder cables for HVAC systems, elevators, and main switchboards.
• Renewable Energy: AC side connections for solar PV plants and wind turbine generators.

• International: IEC 60502-1, IEC 60228, IEC 60332-1-2 (Flame Retardant)
• British Standards: BS 5467 (SWA), BS 6724 (LSZH SWA)
• National Standards: GB/T 12706.1 (YJV, YJLV series)
*Note: AS/NZS, VDE, and ASTM compliance available upon project request.*

1. Conductor: Class 1 solid, Class 2 stranded plain Copper or Aluminum (Circular RM or Sector SM shape).
2. Insulation: XLPE (90°C) for high capacity, or PVC (70°C) for standard use.
3. Inner Covering/Bedding: Extruded PVC or LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) compound.
4. Armour (Optional): – Multicore: SWA (Galvanized Steel Wire) or STA (Steel Tape). – Single Core: AWA (Aluminum Wire) to prevent magnetic induction.
5. Outer Sheath: Durable PVC (Type ST2), Weather-resistant PE, or LSZH.

• High Thermal Capacity: XLPE variants operate continuously at 90°C, with short-circuit tolerance up to 250°C.
• Extreme Mechanical Defense: SWA/STA options provide unparalleled resistance against crushing, impact, and rodent damage.
• Environmental Adaptability: UV-resistant, oil-resistant, and water-blocking configurations available.
• Safety First: Optional LSZH sheathing ensures minimal smoke emission and zero toxic halogen gases during a fire.

• Full-Matrix Availability: From single core 1.5mm² to massive 5-core configurations (including 3+1, 4+1 setups), we manufacture the exact spec you need.
• Zero-Tolerance Quality Control: 100% routine testing for conductor resistance and high-voltage withstand capability before leaving the facility.
• Project-Ready Documentation: We provide comprehensive Type Test Reports and dimension drawings to accelerate your engineering approvals.
• Customization: Tailored outer sheath colors (Black, Red, Blue) and specific core identification standards (HD 308 S2 or numbered).
