Screened Control & Instrumentation Cable (KVVP / CY) – 300/500V & 450/750V

Screened Control & Instrumentation Cable (KVVP / CY) – 300/500V & 450/750V

Farwalk’s Screened Control Cables are the ultimate defense line for sensitive industrial signals. By incorporating a high-density tinned copper braid or foil shield, these cables completely block Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) from heavy machinery, ensuring that critical data and control commands are transmitted with flawless accuracy.

Manufactured to GB/T 9330 (KVVP), BS EN 50525 (CY), and BS EN 50288-7 (Instrumentation) standards. The cores are stranded bare or tinned copper, insulated with PVC or XLPE. The crucial shielding layer consists of either a Copper Wire Screen (CWS / Braid) for excellent flexibility and high-frequency EMI blocking, or an Aluminum/PET tape with a drain wire (for instrumentation). The entire assembly is jacketed in durable, oil-resistant PVC or LSZH.

Mandatory for high-noise industrial environments such as variable frequency drive (VFD) installations, robotics, CNC machinery, power station DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and petrochemical instrumentation networks. The screened design prevents external electrical ‘noise’ from corrupting low-voltage 4-20mA analog signals or digital control pulses.

• Voltage Rating: 300/500V (Inst.) or 450/750V (Control)
• Conductor: Pure Copper (Solid, Stranded, or Flexible)
• Shielding: Tinned Copper Braid (CWS) or Aluminum Foil
• Core Count/Pairs: 2 to 61 Cores, or 1 to 50 Twisted Pairs
• Standards: GB/T 9330 (KVVP), BS EN 50525 (CY), BS EN 50288-7

1. Conductor: Plain annealed copper wires, Solid (Class 1) or Stranded (Class 2).
2. Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) rated for 90°C continuous operation.
3. Core Identification: Cores are precisely identified by numerical printing on a black background, or by distinct color coding.
4. Assembly: Cores are twisted together in concentric layers with optimal lay lengths.
5. Outer Sheath: Extruded PVC jacket, highly resistant to industrial oils and mechanical abrasion. (LSZH options available).

• High Thermal Stability: Unlike standard PVC, XLPE insulation allows the cable to operate continuously at 90°C and withstand short-circuit temperatures up to 250°C without melting.
• Superior Dielectric Strength: XLPE provides excellent electrical insulation properties, reducing signal loss over long transmission distances.
• High Core Density: Available from 2 cores up to 61 cores, enabling massive consolidation of control arrays.

• True XLPE Vulcanization: We utilize genuine cross-linking processes, ensuring the insulation actually achieves its 90°C rating, unlike cheap PE blends found in lower-tier cables.
• Perfect Core Identification: Our advanced printing lines guarantee that even in a 61-core cable, every white number is crisp and highly resistant to fading.
• Multi-Standard Compliance: We offer exact matches for both the Chinese KYJV standard and IEC 60502-1, ensuring global compatibility.
